Transformaci贸n Econ贸mica calls for tenders for the energy refurbishment of an administrative building in PCT Cartuja
The Regional Ministry of Economic Transformation, Industry, Knowledge and Universities, through the Empresa P煤blica de Gesti贸n de Activos S.A (EPGASA), has put out to tender for 959,860 euros the works for the energy rehabilitation and improvement of the accessibility of the administrative building located at Avenida Am茅rico Vespucio 3 of the PCT Cartuja.
The project is part of the eCitySevilla project, an initiative that aims to turn the Seville park into the first European environment, an international benchmark, at the forefront of innovation in renewable energy, sustainable transport, efficient building, open data and digital infrastructure.
The intervention planned by EPGASA contemplates the replacement and improvement of the envelope, the installation of air conditioning and lighting to achieve an energy efficient performance of the building, as well as the reform of the common areas in order to improve the conditions of accessibility, functionality and comfort for its enhancement.
After the intervention, the property, which was built in 1990, will achieve a B energy classification, which will mean a reduction in final energy consumption of around 37%, a higher percentage than the target set within the eCitySevilla strategy. The refurbishment will allow the building to achieve an optimum degree of comfort, with more sustainable and healthier offices, and will contribute to the reactivation of the construction sector and the generation of employment.
The project is in line with the Andalusian Energy Strategy and European policies as, in addition to comprehensively managing its buildings, conserving and maintaining them, it also improves their energy efficiency.
