Deadline extended for submission of proposals for the sustainable mobility challenge
The eCitySevilla project is extending the deadline for the submission of proposals for the last challenge, on the provision of a sustainable mobility service to transport users from the future peripheral car park located in the area of the Banqueta de la Isla de la Cartuja, to the inside of the fenced enclosure, and vice versa.
Companies or groups of companies interested in participating must present a proposal that includes an innovative solution, using a single means of sustainable transport or a combination of several. In any case, the service must ensure that the user does not take more than 15 minutes to reach their destination (whether work, study or other purposes) from the time they park their vehicle, and no more than 15 minutes to return to the car park. The cost of the service should also be affordable, ideally not exceeding €1 per day.
The car park will have a capacity of approximately 2,500 cars and will have charging points for all types of electric vehicles. Therefore, the shuttle service must be in accordance with the forecasts for the filling and emptying process of these spaces. It is expected that most of the vehicles will enter in the morning between 7am and 9.30am, with a peak between 7.45am and 8.45am, while the exit is expected to take place progressively between 2pm and 3.30pm (around 2,000 places) and the remaining 500 between 3.30pm and 8pm.
Companies interested in participating in this challenge may do so by sending their proposal in digital format to the e-mail address secretaria@ecitysevilla.com before 25 February 2022. All the information and rules of this new challenge are available at this link.
